Obituary of Margarette Brewer

Margarette Brewer, age 94 of Hendersonville, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 11th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, with Brant Weidner, Henry Hunt, Emmett Hunt, Chris Echols, Ricky Echols, and Jon Weidner honoring her as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 220 Great Circle Road, Suite 134, Nashville, TN 37228. Mrs. Brewer, was born March 3, 1927 in Dickson County to the late Henry Lee Morris and Edith A. Fortner Morris. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, James H. Brewer; grandson, James Benson; brothers, Louis Morris, Robert Morris, and Vernon Morris, Sr; and sister, Annie May. She is survived by sons, James Richard Brewer (Ann) of Bellevue, William E. “Billy” Brewer of Madison, and Danny Ray Brewer of Ohio; daughters, Brenda A. Donahue of Peoria, AZ, Marietta Ann “Mickey” Hunt (Bob) of Gallatin, and Barbara Fay Steele of Hermitage; brother, James “Marshall” Morris (Hilda) of Nashville; sister, Louise Stewart of Alabama; 11 grandchildren, Kevin Naughton, Ricky Echols (Missy), Geretta Weidner (Jon), Ginger Castle, Melissa Miller (Andy), Emmett Hunt (Lisa), Henry Hunt, Danielle Chrisman, and Shannon Morris (Chad) ; 18 great grandchildren, Jessica Weidner, Brant Weidner (Nicci Alves), Elizabeth Miller, Olivia Miller, James Benson III, Nodia Benson, John Naughton, Casey Naughton, Joshua Castle (Abagail), Chris Echols, Evan M. Hunt, Tyler Skipper (Janay), Shelby Skipper, Jarrett Warrington, Drew Chrisman, Devon Chrisman, Drake Chrisman, and Robert Montgomery; and 8 great-great grandchildren, Jon Summers, Emri Skipper, Ava Skipper, Owen Herron, Kruz Herron, Payton Castle, Zoey Castle, and Jeremiah Castle.
