Obituary of Willene Loftis Hix

Willene Loftis Hix, age 87 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Doyle Farris, Bro. Brian Jarrett, and Bro. Tom Hughes officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 14th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 15th 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Austin Adams, Daniel Adams, Brian Boelter, Michael Larkin, James Cole, and Ricky Keen serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Potter Children’s Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101. Mrs. Hix was born October 4, 1933 in Jackson County, TN to the late Charlie Loftis and Annie Keith Loftis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Robert W. Hix, Sr.; daughter, Martha Ann Hix Larkin; son-in-law, David Adams; brothers, Herman Loftis and James Loftis; and sister, Reba Haynes. She is survived by son, Rob Hix, Jr. (Jackie) of King George, VA; daughter, Ruth Adams of Nashville; brother, Donald Loftis (Dianne) of Brentwood; sister, Joanne Bruce (Roy) of Gallatin; 6 grandchildren, Michael Larkin, Daniel Adams (Triniti), Austin Adams (Laura), Laura Boelter (Brian), Noah Hix, and Daniel Hix; and 5 great grandchildren, Aiden Ozment, Quinn Adams, Emma Adams, Hank Adams, and Henley Adams.
