Obituary of Nannilu Parks

Nannilu Parks, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Mrs. Parks was born October 20, 1938 in Sumner County to the late Erie Bethel Cherry and Bulah Billingsly Cherry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Harvey Reed Parks; daughter, Paula Parks; brothers, Don Cherry and Wayne Cherry; sisters, Emogene Mullinex, Madge Keith, Maxie Pepper, and Reba Clark. She is survived by daughter, Reeda Parks of Gallatin; brothers, Roy Cherry of Gallatin and Faye Cherry of Kansas; sisters, Polly Norman of Gallatin and Bulah Beaty of Lebanon; 2 grandchildren, Haley Martin and Reed Farley (Kristin); and 5 great grandchildren, Mahley Jade Farley, Alyssa Kole Farley, Zachiery Farley, Tapanga Martin, and Titus Martin. Mrs. Parks worked for many years in the cafeteria of Gallatin High School. She loved sewing, crafting, cooking, and her guinea pigs. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
