Obituary of Louise Roberts

Louise Roberts, age 90 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Funeral Service will be Monday, June 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenneth Massey officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 14th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West End Missionary Baptist Church, 440 West Main Street, Gallatin, TN 37066. Mrs. Roberts was born August 5, 1930 in Sumner County to the late Elmer Masters and Martha Belle Taylor Masters. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Joyce Finger; brother-in-law, Matt Matthews; and sister, Beatrice A. Matthews. She is survived by husband of 73 years, William H. Roberts of Gallatin; brother, Estel B. Masters of Indiana; sister, Patsy Simmons (Paul) of Oregon; 2 grandchildren, Meagan Beasley (James) and Matthew Finger; and 4 great grandchildren, Malea Beasley, Jett Beasley, Braxton Finger, and Haven Finger. Mrs. Roberts retired from the United States Social Security Administration after 57 years of service. She was devoted to her church and was a charter member.
