Obituary of Kathleen Davenport

Kathleen Davenport, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. David Gregory officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 15th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 16th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Ricky Davenport, Eugene Davenport, Jr., Nathan Shankle, Michael Davenport, Aron Walker, and Dameon Shankle serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Davenport III, David Hoskins, Terry Davenport, and Marty Davenport. Mrs. Davenport was born May 30, 1939 in Macon County to the late Olma Dillard Gann and Willie Mae Martin Gann. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Bobby Davenport; daughters, Patricia Ann Shankle and Teresa Davenport; son, Billy Wayne Davenport; 2 granddaughters, Cristy Dawn Hoskins and Casey Toney; great-great grandchild, Tristian Smith; sister-in-law, Helen Gann; and brother-in-law, Robert Watson. She is survived by children, Ricky Davenport of Gallatin, Ida Toney (Donnie) of Gallatin, and Eugene Davenport (Mary) of Gallatin; brothers, Dean Gann of Gallatin and Ronald Gann (Linda) of Gallatin; sister, Brinda Watson of Gallatin; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
