Obituary of Dorothy Marie Jackson Adcock

Dorothy Marie Jackson Adcock, age 75 of Gallatin, went to her heavenly home Sunday, June 13, 2021. Dorothy has chosen to be cremated, a Gathering of Friends will be Saturday, June 19th from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home. Mrs. Adcock was born May 2, 1946 in Gallatin to the late Leonard “Ginny” Jackson and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Collins Jackson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by former husband, Dale Adcock; sister, Lela Jackson; brothers, Claude Jackson, William James Jackson, Roy “Cotton” Jackson, and Edward Jackson; and special cousin, Mary Agnes Sisco. She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Marie Roberts (Timothy) of Gallatin; brothers, Raymond Jackson of Indiana, Andrew Jackson of Indiana, and Hughey Jackson of Indiana; 2 four legged grand pets, Mia and Lizzi; her special cat Sweet Pea; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her very much. Dorothy was a very sweet lady with a kind heart. She enjoyed reading, doing crochet (making some beautiful pieces) and being a devoted mother. Dorothy worked for many years with Lawnlite (later Sunbeam) and with Gallatin Rehab and Nursing Home. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
