Obituary of David Lee Draper

David Lee Draper, age 71 of Cottontown, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021. Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Singleton, Bro. Doyle Farris, and Danny Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23rd from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 24th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Kirby Parker, Jerry Wright, Tim Wright, Dalton Henry, Derryl Henry, Jr, and Mark Triplet serving as pallbearers. Mr. Draper was born December 26, 1949 in Cottontown to the late Jake Draper and Cora Wilson Draper. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by brother, Jeff Draper; sister, Suzette Henry and her husband, Derryl Henry, Sr. He is survived by wife of 34 years, June Teresa Patrick Draper of Cottontown; son, Patrick Draper of Cottontown; daughter, Catherine Draper of Cottontown; sister, Linda Draper of Cottontown; and sister-in-law, Fran Draper of Gallatin. Mr. Draper served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of Fountain Head Church of Christ. Mr. Draper was owner/operator of Sumner County Carpet Cleaners for 40 years.
