Obituary of Tony Ray Smith

Tony Ray Smith, age 59 of Portland, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, June 26th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 27th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Siloam Cemetery, with Conner Flashner, Bobby King, Josh Flashner, Robert Smith, Curtis Short, and George Keller serving as pallbearers. Mr. Smith was born July 13, 1961 in Gallatin to the late Richard Lee Smith and Mary Elizabeth Brown Smith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Jerry Sanders; and sister, Dean Rivers. He is survived by fiancé, Wanda Jackson of Portland; children, Tonya Smith of Red Boiling Springs, Tony C. Smith of Lafayette, and Tosha Smith Flashner (Josh) of Scottsville, KY; brothers, George Keller of Gallatin and Richard Eugene Smith (Barbara McGar-Smith) of Gallatin; sister, Martha Williams of Nashville; uncles, Jim Smith and Bud Smith; aunt, Sue Lockwood; and 9 grandchildren, Kayla, Shelby, Gracie, Conner, Dayla, Amiya, Felicity, Tristan, and Paul.
