Obituary of Leland Fountain Hargis

Mr. Leland Fountain Hargis, age 75, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Knollwood Manor. Funeral services for Mr. Leland Hargis are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder G.W. Knight officiating. Interment will follow in the Haysville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 4 PM until 8 PM, and on Friday, from 9 AM until service time 2 PM. A Masonic service will be held on Thursday evening, July 15, 2021, at 6 PM from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home and will be conducted by the Lafayette Lodge #543 F&AM. Family suggests donations be made towards Haysville Cemetery. Leland Hargis was preceded in death by; Parents, Audie Dewey Hargis and Gladys Audew West Hargis; Brother, Melvin Hargis; and an infant sister. He is survived by; Wife, Patricia Hire Hargis Daughter, Crystal Hargis Two grandsons Sister-in-law, Beth Hargis Two nephews And a dear friend and neighbor, Julia Driver.
