Obituary of Manuel Girton

GIRTON, Manuel, age 81 of Madison, passed away July 28, 2021. Mr. Girton was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Betty Cooper Girton; son, Sonny Girton; parents, Walter and Mammie Lee Girton; brothers, Walter Girton and Charles Girton. He is survived by sons, Manuel Girton, Jr., Walter (Pansy) Girton, Paul (Tammy) Girton, Teddy (Donna) Girton, and Harry (Joyce) Girton; daughters, Julie (Myer) Lee, Ramona Girton, Ruby (Danny) Cardona, and Annie Girton; brother, Phillip Girton; sisters, Lisa Girton and Tanya Girton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 2nd at 1 PM from the chapel at Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery with grandsons serving pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 31st from 3-11 PM, Sunday, August 1st from 9 AM-11 PM, and Monday, August 2nd from 9 AM until time of service.
