Obituary of Shirley Stewart Frye

Shirley Stewart Frye, age 76 of Portland, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021. Funeral Service will be Sunday, August 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, August 7th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 8th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Frye was born July 28, 1945 in Sumner County to the late Ezra Dee Stewart and Maggie Lou Williams Stewart. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Willard D. Stewart, Herman Stewart (Marie), Mary Katherine Reily (Charles), Tommy Stewart, Joe Stewart, and Bobby Stewart. She is survived by son, Jason Frye (Angie) of Cottontown; sister, Carolyn Sue Smith of Bethpage; and 3 grandchildren, Austin Frye, Lydia Frye, and Coleman Frye.
