Obituary of Louise Dameral

Louise Dameral, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 14th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Joe Howard Whitaker officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 13th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 14th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Casey Byrd, Derrin Dameral, Robert Hall, and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Mrs. Dameral was born June 14, 1947 in Borneo, Indonesia to the late Francois Theodore Wilhelm Guustaaf Voorstad and Clara Hedwig Reinicke Voorstad. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Gary Lee Dameral. She is survived by daughter, Jackie Byrd (Casey) of Gallatin; son, Derrin James Dameral of St. Anthony, MN; brother, Francois Voostad (Stephanie) of New Mexico; sisters, Stawny E. Hall (Robert) of Boise, ID and Hetty Harrell (Randy) of Atascadero, CA; and 4 grandchildren, Paiten Byrd, Brayden Dameral, Noah Dameral, and Katherine Elizabeth Dameral. She worked at Nationwide Studio for many years. Mrs. Dameral loved gardening and cooking, spending time with her family, and had a very close relationship with the Lord.
