Obituary of LaDora Jean Carter

Mrs. LaDora Jean Carter, age 61, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Macon Community Hospital. Funeral Services for LaDora Carter are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 2 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Hugh Wayne Clark officiating. Interment will follow in The Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 4 PM until 9 PM, and on Thursday, from 8 AM until service time at 2 PM. Family suggests donations be made to Friends of Macon Co. TN Animals or Drapers Crossroads Church of Christ Building Fund. LaDora Jean Carter was preceded in death by her Father, J.C. McCarter; Sisters, Pamela Kaye McCarter, and Ruth Spivey; and Brother, Jimmie McCarter. She is survived by; Mother, Edna Davis McCarter Husband, Tommy Carter Daughter, Natasha Taylor and husband, Josh Siblings, Pat Cassetty Howard McCarter and wife, Carol Sharon Morgan Shelta Shrum and husband, Gary Renita Marsh Mark McCarter and wife, Betty Brother-in-law, Jimmy Spivey Sister-in-law, Janice McCarter An abundance of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins also survive.
