Obituary of Lucretia "Lou" Prescott

Lucretia “Lou” Prescott, age 64 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 24th at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor John McClendon officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24th from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1818 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203. Lou was born September 15, 1956 in Fort Campbell, KY to H. L. Heatherly of Castalian Springs and the late Shirley Harper Heatherly. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by brothers, David Heatherly, Howard Heatherly, and Rickie Heatherly. She is survived by husband, Rick Prescott of Gallatin; children, Sonya Stone (Joe) of Gallatin, Lara Blackwell (Bryan) of Castalian Springs, David Morrison of Nashville, and Daniel Prescott (Marianne) of Ruskin, FL; sister, Sarah Heatherly of Gallatin; brother, H. L. Heatherly II of Gallatin; beloved mother figure, Bula Lackey of Castalian Springs; mother-in-law, Noma Prescott of Sanford, FL.; sister-in-law, Linda Delaune of Sanford, FL; and 5 grandchildren, Dani Gilbert, Larson Stone, Ella Bryson Blackwell, Logan James Prescott, and Jordan Coppock (Tyler).
