Obituary of Virginia S. Robinson Pilgrim

Virginia S. Robinson Pilgrim, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021. A Celebration of her life for family and friends will be Sunday, September 12th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at her son, Robert’s home (1110 Katherine Street, Gallatin, TN 37066). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation at gfbf.org, 2575 Chantilly Drive, Atlanta, GA 30324. Mrs. Pilgrim was born December 13, 1937 in Thomasville, GA to the late Barnie Mitchell Sandford and Annie Mae Jones Sanford. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Bruce Pilgrim; brother, Roy Sandford; and sisters, Ruby Sandford and Helen Sandford. She is survived by sons, Robert Robinson, Jr (Lisa) of Gallatin and John Thomas Robinson (Deana) of Quitman, GA; the father of her children, Robert Robinson, Sr. of Tifton, GA; 12 grandchildren, James Andrew Robinson, J.T. Robinson (Autumn), Danielle Bonisch (Ryan), Tommy Robinson (Katie), Kristian Robinson, Brittany Robinson, James C. Robinson (Ashley), Travis Miller (Sahra), Kevin Page, Kari Goin, Savannah Dreblow, and Michael Weber; and 20 great grandchildren. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
