Obituary of Jerry David McCormick

Jerry David McCormick, age 69 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, September 20th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 21st from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Davis Cemetery, with Shannon McCormick, Dallas McCormick, Johnathan McCormick, Jacob Polson, Mark Chastain, and Steve Barnhill serving as pallbearers. Donations may be made to Family Heritage Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Mr. McCormick was born April 24, 1952 in Sumner County to the late Alford McCormick and Claudie Mainor McCormick. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Jasmine McCormick and Dakota McCormick; and siblings, Prentice Lee McCormick, Minnie Loreen Summers, James Floyd McCormick, Mary Francis Lambert, and Albert C. McCormick. He is survived by children, Tabetha O’Connor (Rick) of Bethpage, Jerry Shannon McCormick (Erin) of Gallatin, Dallas McCormick of Bethpage, and Billie Kay McCormick of Gallatin; mother -of-his-children, Martha Green of Gallatin; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
