Marylin was my dear friend in Christ Jesus and a wonderful neighbor, Marylin had nick named our friendship as Thelma and Louise! We would joke and share her memories of her trip to NY in her Youth! We often shared our thoughts of the events of the Day, and Greatly enjoyed our trips to the store and the breaking of bread at a local restaurant. My sincere condolences to the Mckenzie Family! May the Peace of God Be with each of you!
Marilyn was my first cousin and our Dad's were brothers, Maither and Mancil Brown. Growing up, Marilyn and I were always at our family reunions and I have pictures to show this. She and I always got along, well, but didn't see each other very often. Then she moved to Memphis out of high school and continued her career in nursing and marrying and raising a family. She said that she turned out to be one of those silly grandmother's that talked about her grandchildren! That was just fine, Marilyn. Dorinda's and Lee were close to Marilyn and Wayne and Marilyn knew that Dorinda would be there for her when she was needed. Rest In Peace, Marilyn, love and miss you. Linda Brown Pearce
