Obituary of William H. Roberts

William H. Roberts, age 93 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenneth Massey officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 9th from 11:30 until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gallatin Senior Citizens Center, 200 East Franklin Street, Gallatin, TN 37066. Mr. Roberts was born February 3, 1928 in Portland to the late Homer Roberts and Dovey Roberts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Evelyn Louise Masters; daughter, Brenda Joyce Finger; and brother, Gerald Roberts. He is survived by grandchildren, Meagan Beasley (James) and Matthew Finger; and 4 great grandchildren, Malea Beasley, Jett Beasley, Braxton Finger, and Haven Finger. Mr. Roberts served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church and Post #17 of the American Legion. Mr. Roberts retired from Genesco after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends at the Gallatin Senior Center and Gallatin Civic Center. His passions were going to yard sales and antiquing with his wife, and holding sales with the treasures they found. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
