Obituary of Florence D. Burgett

Florence D. Burgett, age 92 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 7th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will Thursday, October 7th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Burgett was born July 1, 1929 in McCrory, AR to the late Stewart Watwood and Mary Watwood. IN addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Everett Hall Burgett; brothers, Arthur Watwood, Alfred Watwood, and Leonard Watwood; and sister, Mable Watwood McCue. She is survived by son, James Burgett (Janet) of Bethpage; brother, J. R. Watwood of Texarkana, TX; granddaughter, Angie Manning (James) of Gallatin; and great grandchildren, McKenzie Manning and Caleb James Manning.
