Mr. George Henry Jones, age 83, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage. Funeral services for George Henry Jones are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 2 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale and Brother Troy Mungle officiating. Interment will follow in the Nelson McDonald Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Friday from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM. George Henry Jones was preceded in death by his; Wife, Helen Y. Blackwell Jones; Parents, Clarence Mitchell Jones and Lassie Victoria Pirtle Jones; Son, Jerry Jones; Daughter, Wanda Darlene Jones; and Brothers, James Jones and Hollis Jones.
