Obituary of Margaret Glover Kittrell

Margaret Glover Kittrell, 91 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021. Graveside Service will be Wednesday, October 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20th from 12:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gallatin High School General Scholarship Fund, c/o Danielle Smith, 700 Dan P. Herron Drive, Gallatin, TN 37066. Mrs. Kittrell was born December 5, 1929 in Detroit, MI to the late Leonard Harvey Glover and Eva Malone Glover. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Jack Kittrell, Jr; and son, Jason Edward Kittrell. She is survived by daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Kittrell of Gallatin; son, Joel Leonard Kittrell of Gallatin; sister, Mary Jo Swan of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Duncan Payne and Riley Payne; nephew, Bruce Kittrell (Connie)and nieces, Montee Beaty and Marilyn Kittrell. Mrs. Kittrell retired as a teacher for Gallatin High School after many years of service. She was founder of the Republican Women’s Club of Sumner County in the 1970’s.
