Obituary of Barbara Hardaway

Barbara Hardaway, age 77 of Gallatin passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 20th at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Spano officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 20th from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 9:00 a.m. Entombment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Cory Spano, Clint Spano, Ricky Hollins, Melissa Johnson, Phil Hardaway, and Andy Hardaway honoring her as pallbearers. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Mrs. Hardaway was born November 26, 1943 in Nashville to the late Isaac Pardue and Kathleen Parkhurst Pardue. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Jeffrey Pardue; sister, Linda Hanson; and husband, Charles “Chuck” Hardaway. She is survived by daughter, Lisa Spano (Danny) of Gallatin; sons, Phil Hardaway (Rhonda) of Gallatin and Andy Hardaway of Gallatin; sister, Teresa Hollins (Ricky) of Gallatin; brothers, Ronald Pardue of Daytona, FL and Richard Pardue of Ft. Myers, FL; and 3 grandchildren, Cory Spano, Clint Spano (Sarah), and Blake Kirby. Barbara retired from Kroger after over 30 years of service.
