In Loving Memory of David Duane Terrell, Jr. August 21, 1963 – October 20, 2021 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the loss of David, age 58, Gallatin, Tennessee to his battle with cancer. David was born on August 21, 1963, in Nashville, TN as the son of Wanda and David Terrell, Sr. Throughout his life, David was a loving and dedicated son, husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by Louise Terrell, his loving wife of 14 years, three wonderful children Tiffany Underwood and her husband Justin Underwood (Mt. Juliet, TN), Joshua Terrell (LaFayette, TN), and Lexy Schweinsberg and her husband Michael (Douglasville, Georgia), his four grandchildren Rowan Terrell, Owen Schweinsberg, Even Schweinsberg, and Emily Schweinsberg, and his mother Wanda Terrell. He was predeceased by his father David Terrell, Sr., his grandmother Waldine Staggs, and his grandfather Leamon Staggs. David was a graduate of Hendersonville High School and Nashville State Area Vocational-Technical School now known as The Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Nashville (TCAT). He worked for the State of Tennessee at Tennessee State University and Volunteer State Community College for over 30 years. When he wasn’t working, he could be found spending time with his family. He found the most joy when his family was all together around the dinner table enjoying a meal or playing cards. He was well known for his sense of humor, his smile that lit up his face, and playing practical jokes. He gave the best hugs in the world and encouraged everyone he came into contact with to enjoy life and family. He will be forever remembered and missed by his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Rivergate Church of Christ, 201 Alta Loma Road, Madison, TN.
