Obituary of Bernice Stewart

Bernice Stewart, age 80 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 14th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 14th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Gallatin Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Stewart was born May 7, 1941 in Harlin, KY to the late Edward Jordan and Rose Smith Jordan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Thomas Stewart; sister, Beatrice Messer; and brother-in-law, John Messer. She is survived by daughters, Rhonda Lynn Stewart of Indiana, Deborah Bernice Conaster of Gallatin, and Tammy Jo Stewart of Gallatin; brothers, Harold Jordan of Ohio and Terry Wayne Jordan (Bobbi) of Ohio; sisters, Helen Woods (Kenneth) of Ohio and Belua Mae Riek (Ronnie) of Ohio; 6 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
