Obituary of Sam Watson Jr.

Sam Watson, Jr. passed away on December 8, 2021 at age 92. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Gordon Lee and Brother George Wallace, is 2 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers: Jeremy Bradley, Michael League, Kramer Tuggle, Robert "Buck" Hall, Donald Gann, James Walker, Steve Bradley, and Jimmy Spears. Honorary Pallbearers: Kamden League, Griffin League, Jeremy Bradley II, Palmer Tuggle, and Milo League. Visitation is Thursday from noon until the service at 2 p.m. Sam Watson Jr. was born in Lebanon TN to Nora Novella Knowles Watson and Sam Watson. Mr. Watson was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Sergeant First Class. He worked as a butcher for over 60 years in Wilson County. Mr. Watson loved mowing, gardening, and being with the grandkids and great grands. He is survived by daughter: Tammie (Shane) Bradley; grandchildren: Jeremy Bradley, Jena (Michael) League, and Julie (Kramer) Tuggle; great-grandchildren: Jada Bradley, Kamden League, Griffin League, Jeremy Bradley, Jemma Bradley, Palmer Tuggle, Eloise Tuggle, and Milo League. He is preceded in death by wife of 66 years, Margaret Louise Watson, parents Nora and Sam Watson, sisters Lois Watson, Lizzie Brown, and Ruby Harris, and brothers John c. Watson, C.W.
