Obituary of Henry Arneil Smith

Henry Arneil Smith, age 63 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021.  There will be a Celebration of Life Service Monday, January 10^th at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Monday, January 10^th from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. 

Mr. Smith was born April 11, 1958 in Portland to the late John Smith Jr and Sue Helen Groves Smith.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Roger Smith, Jr.   He is survived by companion, Joyce Woods of Gallatin; sons, Gorunitisa Smith of Portland, Xa’Vaion Smith of Gallatin, and Joe Edward Talley of Gallatin; daughters, Trena Smith of Jackson, TN, Wanda Hughes of Nashville, and Sa’Dreaka Stewart of Gallatin; brothers, John Smith (Navie) of Gallatin, Robert Smith of Cross Plains, and Leon Smith of Cross Plains; sister, Joann Smith of Cross Plains; brother and sister by choice, John and Mary Genung of Gallatin; 10 grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored to assist the family.
