Obituary of John Clinton Gregory

Mr. John Clinton Gregory, age 94 of Madison, TN passed away Sunday evening, December 12, 2021 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN. John was born August 25, 1927 to the late Jeff Gregory Sr. and Josie Baird Gregory and served in the United State Marine Corps. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: Wife, Elizabeth Day Gregory; Wife, Marie Anthony; Daughter, Melanie Lynn Melton; Sister, Marie Caruth; 5 Brothers, Jeff Gregory Jr., Earl “Bud” Gregory, Albert “Gink” Gregory, Julius “Dupie” Gregory and Paul Gregory. Survived by: Step Son, Jimmy (Elizabeth) Anthony; Step Grandchildren, Tim (Holly) Anthony and Sherry Anthony; Step Great Granddaughters, Addie Bennett & Jayla Anthony and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Saturday, December 18, 2021 conducted by Eld. G.W. Knight. Interment will be in the Hartsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 9 AM until service time Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
