Obituary of Gordon Lee Dyer

Gordon Lee Dyer, age 70 of Gallatin, formerly of Picayune, MS, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Garry Harling officiating.   Visitation will be Saturday, February 12th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will be Saturday, February 19th at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 302 East Miller Street, Bloomington, IL  61701.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sherry’s Hope, P.O. Mr. Dyer was born September 10, 1951 in Lebanon, IN to the late Wesley Elwood Dyer and Rachel Louise Larrick Dyer.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Roger Ruskin Dyer and Ralph Elwood Dyer; and sister, Judith Louise Dyer.  He is survived by wife of 49 years, Jan Carol Johnson Dyer of Gallatin; son, Christopher Lee Dyer (Stacy) of Gallatin; daughter, Judge Carolyn Marie Christoffersen (Marcus) of Mt. Juliet; and 6 grandchildren, Stephen Lee Christoffersen, Brody Christopher Dyer, Jacob Wesley Christoffersen, Aubrey Lynn Dyer, Noah Ashford Christoffersen, and Elijah Gibson Christoffersen.  Mr. Dyer worked at Lockheed Martin as an Aerospace Engineer for 29 years.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored to assist the family.
