Obituary of Betty R. McElyea

Ms. Betty R. McElyea age 68, of Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage. Funeral services for Ms. Betty R. McElyea are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Michael Likens reading the obituary and Pastor James Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Haysville Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM.

The family request donations be made toward the funeral expenses.

Ms. Betty R. McElyea was preceded in death by her Parents, James Oliver Prater and Effie Dora Summerville Prater; and Daughter, Suzan Harris.
