Obituary of Michael A. Cox

Michael Cox, age 53 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Monday, February 28^th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Julius Hovan officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 27^th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice.

Mr. Cox was born February 28, 1968 in Gallatin.  He is preceded in death by father, Billy Cox; and step-father, Charlie Cox.  He is survived by mother, Sue Overfelt Cox of Gallatin; fiancé’, Robin Byrd of Gallatin; daughters, Shelby Lynn Cole (Zachary) of Lawrenceburg and Jennifer Cox of Lafayette; step-daughter, Nicole Byrd of Gallatin; sister, Tina Wade (Hargis) of Gallatin; niece, Rebecca Flynn (Vincent) of Gallatin; nephew, Jeremy Wade of Gallatin; and 1 grandchild, Olivia Cole.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
