Obituary of Patsy Jean "Pat" Simpson

Patsy Jean “Pat” Simpson, age 76 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday, March 1st from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 2nd from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.   Interment will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Austin Harris, Mike Barton, Travis Porter, Harvey Thaxton, Sandy Smith, Lexton Sutton, and Luke Simpson serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene Children’s Department, 407 N. Water Avenue, Gallatin, TN  37066.

Mrs. Simpson was born February 10, 1946 in Sumner County to the late Ewing Roger Smith and Della Irene Craven Smith.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Harold Simpson; and brother, Roger Allen Smith.  She is survived by son, Michael Simpson (Andrea) of Gallatin; daughter, Pam Burton of Gallatin; brother, Danny Smith (Carol) of Gallatin; sisters, Nancy Porter (Travis) of Gallatin and Connie Sue Thaxton (Harvey) of Gallatin; 5 grandchildren, Amy Polk (Mike), Autumn Harris (Austin), Jessie Simpson, Luke Simpson, and Allie Simpson; and 5 great grandchildren, Dakota Polk, Lexton Sutton, Baylee Anderson, Rylan Harris, and Anabelle Polk.  Mrs. Simpson was a member of Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored to assist the family.
