Obituary of Roger Dresser

Roger E. Dresser, age 91 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, March 13^th.  Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, March 24^th at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.   Visitation will be Thursday, March 24^th from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.   

Mr. Dresser was born February 28, 1931 in Deerfield, Mass to the late William Dresser and Marion George Dresser.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Wanda Tinsley Dresser; brothers, Richard Dresser, Carl Dresser, and Bub Dresser; and sisters, Helen Long, Mary Martin, Jane Welcome-Kimbal, and Gertrude Napolitano.  He is survived by daughters, Joan Baker Thomason of Gallatin, Jeannie Baker Brown (Hilliard) of Easley, SC, and Tammy Spangler (Don) of Hendersonville; brother, Donald Dresser (Deanne) of New York; 5 grandchildren, Chelsea Young, Sydney Young, Victoria Harbin (Jesse), Bill Brown III, and Brandon Janco; and 2 great grandchildren, Arabella Harbin and Aria Harbin.  Mr. Dresser served our country in the United States Navy from 1949 – 1964 and the United States Air Force from 1964 – 1972.  He retired from Western Plastics and worked for Kirby Enterprises and Kusan Plastics.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
