Obituary of Lynda Storm

Lynda Storm passed away on March 16, 22 at age 77. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother David Rhodes, is 12 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers: James Payne, Derrick Johnson, Justin Wells, Jerry Napier, and James Richardson. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday 10 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m.

               Lynda J. Storm was born in Lebanon TN to Lucille “Lucy” Shipp Callis and Joe Bennett George. She had her own housekeeping business, was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading. Lynda was American Legion Auxiliary Department of Tennessee President in 2000-2001, NEC in 2001-2002 and Alternate NEC in 2002-2003. She was currently serving as Department Convention Chairman.

Mrs. Storm is preceded in death by husband Al Storm, son Jeffery Lance Williams, mother Lucy Callis, and father Joe George. She is survived by children Keith (Denise) Akins, Lanice “Neecie” Payne, and Misty (Joseph) Hicks, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, sisters Jan Johnson, Paulette (Jerry) Strickland, and Amanda George, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She had a beautiful smile. She loved her kids and family so much. She loved to shop, and to wear her nice jewelry and clothes. She loved the Hallmark channel. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She gave with all her heart to others. She loved her new church family. She was the true definition of love. She will be forever missed. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN 615.444.9393.
