Obituary of Evelyn Brown

Evelyn Brown, age 66 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 29^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Greg Mutsch officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, March 28^th from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 29^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hendersonville Christian Academy, 260 New Shackle Island Road, Hendersonville, TN  37075.

Mrs. Brown was born October 24, 1955 in Portland to the late Carl Dee Troutt and Evelyn Christine Young Troutt.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Ricky Troutt.  She is survived by husband, Morgan Lee Brown of Gallatin; son, Michael Brown (Piroska) of Los Angeles; daughter, Laura Boivin of Gallatin; sister, Shelia Smith (Tim) of Castalian Springs; and 2 grandchildren, Caleb Boivin and Emily Boivin.  Mrs. Brown was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She worked with the Boy Scouts for over 15 years, enjoyed scrapbooking, and volunteered with Howard Elementary School and Hendersonville Christian Academy.  She attended Bible Baptist Church.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
