Obituary of Alice Marie Akers

Mrs. Alice Marie Akers, age 65, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Macon Community Hospital. Funeral Services for Mrs. Alice Akers are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11 AM from The Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Ministers officiating. Interment will follow in The Booker Fork Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at Alexander Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 4 PM until 8 PM. There will be a visitation at Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church in Pike County, Kentucky on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 6 PM until 11 PM, and on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 12 PM until 11 PM.

Mrs. Alice Marie Akers was preceded in death by her Parents, Henry Clay Collier and Hazel Newsome Collier; Brothers, Roy Collier, Ray Edward Collier, and James Allen Collier; and Sisters, Ruth Moore Joann Roberts, Wanda Bowling, Edna Collier, and Barbara Kay Roberts.
