Obituary of Mary Lee Wade

Ms. Mary Lee Wade, age 83 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center. Mary was born on July 19, 1938 in Jackson, Alabama to the late Arthur Burdell Wade and Juretta Gardner Wade. Mary is survived by her sons, Tony (Leslie) Dunning, and Tracy (Gina) Dunning; sisters, Faye (Bob) Scattery, Jean Carlton, and Liz (Bobby) George; brother, Charles (Evelyn) Wade; grandchildren, Amanda (Scott) Brown, Chad (Michelle) Dunning, Jessica (Misty) Simpson, Keith Dunning, Dalton Neely, and Meghan Westhorp; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchildren also survive. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Terry Lynn Dunning; daughter, Tammy Kay Dunning. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 4th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel at Gilbert Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Schmidt officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 4th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
