Obituary of Monty Dwayne York, II.

Mr. Monty Dwayne York, II, age 15 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. Monty was born on March 2, 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee to Kristina Binkley York and the late Monty Dwayne York.

Monty is survived by his mother, Kristina York; step-dad, Brian Poff; brother, Nolan York, soon-to-be brother, Xavier Poff; step-brother, Nickolai Poff; grandparents, Timothy (Janice) Binkley, Kimberly Binkley, Dwayne York, and Debra Jewell; step-granny, Pamela Poff; aunts, Sherine (Bradley) Barrett and Ashley Vandiver; fur baby, Bear along with numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Monty Dwayne York; great-grandparents, Herman and Darla York; step-grandfather, Gus Poff, Jr.; infant brother, Timothy Gus Poff.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, May 5^th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Brother Kevin Dye officiating. Interment will follow the service at Beech Historic Cemetery with Tim Binkley, Brian Poff, Nolan York, Dwayne York, Bradley Barrett, and Brad Barrett serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 5^th from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Flowers are welcomed but if you prefer to make a donation the family respectfully requests donations be made towards the funeral expense.
