Obituary of Helen G. Perrigo

Helen Gertrude Brown Perrigo was born April 3, 1930 in

Sumner County, Tennessee.  She found the Lord at the tender

age of 11 at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  She married

Calvin Perrigo on May 16, 1947.  This union was blessed with

four surviving children.  She was a member of Longview                Missionary Baptist church for the last 25 years. She served Gallatin as a     dedicated employee of McDonald’s for 25 years retiring at 85 years of age. One daughter, Linda Baumgartner of Wadsworth, Ohio and sons, Ronald Perrigo (Sandra) of Lebanon, Tn, Stephen Perrigo (Connie) of Gallatin, TN and Richard Perrigo (Kimberly) of Wadsworth, Ohio.  She and Calvin served the Lord in Tennessee, Ohio and Oregon as well as visiting other states and countries.   Her surviving granddaughters are      Lucinda Wagner, Elizabeth Sullivan, Hannah McCartney (Zack).  Her grandsons are Justin Perrigo (Desiree), Aaron Perrigo (Amy), and Alexander Perrigo.   Her great grandchildren are Benjamin Eby, Erin Eby, Abigail Sullivan, Sarah and Andrea Kelly, Thomas Sullivan, Liam Perrigo, Tristan and Cillian McCartney, and Austin Perrigo.  She is preceded in death       by her husband of 46 years, her father Thurman Brown, mother Arva Brown, sister and brother-in-law Muriel and Carlos Allen, son-in-law Louis Baumgartner and granddaughter Luanne Kelly.  She is survived by one sister, Carol Chambers and a brother Tommy Brown and many nieces and nephews she loved like her own children.  The obituary was lovingly written by the family.    Funeral Service will be Friday, May 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 12th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Friday, May 13th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
