Obituary of Frank Scott

Frank Scott, age 93 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Friday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Bob Snell and Bro. Mike Corbin officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 12th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 13th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Historic Gallatin Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gallatin First Baptist Church Homebound Ministries, P. O. Box 369, Gallatin, TN  37066, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes, 1310 Franklin Road, Brentwood, TN  37027, or High Point Hospice, 300 Steam Plant Road Suite 220, Gallatin, TN  37066.

Mr. Scott was born August 7, 1928 in Bethpage to the late Homer Scott and Katherine Hackett Scott.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Bettye Williams Scott; brother, Jim Scott; and sisters, Nancy Moss, Robbie Dobbs, and Pat Harris.  He is survived by sons, Clay Scott (Debbie) of Scottsville, KY and Brandt Scott (Sandie) of Lebanon; and granddaughter, Sarah Scott.  Mr. Scott served our country in the United States Navy.  He retired from TVA after many years of service.  Frank served on Sumner County Commission for the 5th District and was active on the Homebound Ministries at First Baptist Church in Gallatin.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored to assist the family.
