Obituary of Hazel Molene Halliburton Smalling

Ms. Hazel Molene Halliburton Smalling, age 85, of Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services for Ms. Hazel Smalling are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 11 AM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Gammons and Brother Jim Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Galen Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 3 PM until 9 PM, and on Wednesday, from 8 AM until service time 11 AM.

The family request donations be made to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Ms. Hazel Smalling was preceded in death by her Husband, James Edward Smalling; Daughter, Kathy Law; Parents, James Leslie Halliburton and Bertha Elizabeth Lee Halliburton; Brothers, Calvin Halliburton and Louie Halliburton; and Sisters, Vondal Doss, Jewel Kelley, Velvie Smith, Maisy Gray, and Remona L. Hatcher.
