Obituary of Jerry Luper

Jerry Luper, age 74 of Lebanon, passed away on June 11, 2022. The Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

               Jerry Luper was born in Woodbury TN to Lura Bell Graham and Raymond Luper. He served in the United States Army and later became a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America 1004. Mr. Luper has been the owner of Lebanon Scrap Metals since 1988. He was also a jokester with family or whomever he was around. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Jackson Luper; children: Barbara (Jason) Stewart and Stevie (Jenny) Luper; grandchildren: Peyton (Anneka) Stewart, Hayli Stewart, Katy Stewart, Jonathan Luper, Ryan Luper, and Cora Luper; great-grandson on the way: Greyson Stewart; siblings: Carolyn (Michael) Kindberg, Jennie TerBush, Betty (Jay) Crater, and Linda Luper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
