Obituary of Melinda Lee King

Mrs. Melinda Lee King, age 53 of Hartsville, TN passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Gallatin, TN.

Preceded in death by:  Grandparents, Robert & Margie Blackwell Sr. and Dewey & Josie McCarter; Parents, Harold & Eddar McCarter and Half Brother, Rick Dean Parker.

Survived by:  Husband, Dewayne King; 3 Sons, D.J. King, Haiden Pope and Will Pope; 2 Daughters, Brittany King and Lila Pope; 2 Grandchildren, Jaiden & Kassius King; 2 Sisters, Lisa (Jackie) Binion and Gloria Stewart; Half Brother, Albert Dean Parker Jr.; Father-in-Law, Lonnie King: Sister-in-Law, Vickie (Kelley) Cox; 4 Nieces and Nephews and 12 Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Saturday, June 25, 2022 conducted by Eld. Jeff Blackwell. Interment will be in the Hartsville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3 to 8 PM Friday and 10 AM until service time Saturday.
