Obituary of Ted "Coach Mac" McCaslin

Ted “Coach Mac” McCaslin, age 62 of Lafayette, passed away Monday, July 10, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 16^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Pastor Don Haston officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 16^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. McCaslin was born November 22, 1959 in Poteau, OK to the late Byford McCaslin and Yvonna Chaplin McCaslin.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Rick McCaslin and Randy McCaslin; and sister, Donna McCaslin.  He is survived by wife of 18 years, Kathy Kieselhorst McCaslin of Lafayette; daughters, Kati Polston (Keith Fann) of Gallatin and Kelsey Polston of Dallas, GA; nephew, Rick McCaslin, Jr. (April) of Oklahoma; and grandson William Wyatt Daughtry.  Mr. McCaslin retired as a school teacher after many years of service, his longest tenure having been Kenwood High School in Clarksville.  Coach Mac taught at many schools in Tennessee and enjoyed coaching football, track, and wrestling.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin has been honored to assist the family.
