Obituary of Ezra "EZ" Jackson

Ezra “EZ” Jackson, age 62 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 23rd from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. Jackson was born October 25, 1959 in Davidson County to the late Alvis Roy Jackson and Grace Elizabeth Stafford Jackson.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Andrew Fowler Jackson and William Forrest Jackson; and sisters, Edna Lee Jackson, Nannie Leslie Goins, and Mary Julia Poole.  He is survived by sons, Brandon Jackson of Gallatin and Josh Jackson of Gallatin; daughter, Amanda Wedgeworth (Ruben) of Mississippi; brother, Darold Ray Jackson of Portland; sisters, Alma May Pomeroy (Earl) of Huntsville, AL and Deborah Smith of Gallatin; and 6 grandchildren, Regan Shows, Tylee Shows, Joshua Jackson, Samuel Jackson, Alexis Jackson, and Matthew Jackson.  EZ worked for Jim Rochelle for over 30 years.  He was very proud of being a recovering alcoholic for over 7 years.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin has been honored to assist the family.
