Obituary of Paul Brownlee

Paul “Tom” Brownlee passed away on July 19, 2022 at age 70. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Thursday, July 21, 2022, 4-8 p.m.

               Paul Thomas Brownlee was born and raised in Nashville TN to Roberta Newton and Charles Eugene Brownlee. He graduated Antioch High School. He joined and served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He was a journeyman welder and member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 572. He loved fishing, bird hunting, and all things Vanderbilt.

               Mr. Brownlee is survived by wife: Karen Brownlee; children: T.J. (Linda) Brownlee, Josh (Bridget) Brownlee, and Chris (Cindy) Brownlee; 4 grandchildren: Shelby King, Lela Brownlee Ash, Eli Brownlee, and Tyler Brownlee; great-grandsons: Charlee King, Mason King, and Koa King; mother-in-law: Shirley Pratt; siblings: Charles (Beverly) Brownlee, Jim (Belinda) Brownlee, Tim (Vicki) Brownlee, and John (Juanita) Brownlee; numerous nieces and nephews; and faithful furry companions: Bo, Axel, and Jasper. He is preceded in death by parents Roberta and Charles Brownlee, father-in-law Charles C. Pratt Jr.  

His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Paul T. Brownlee came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, 615.444.9393.
