Obituary of Wilson Roberts

Wilson “Pull-Tight” Roberts passed away on July 22, 2022 at age 67. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service.  Pallbearers: Justin Roberts, Austin Spann, Joseph Roberts, Billy Pemberton, Dwayne Pemberton, and Jamie Winters. Visitation is at Sellars on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.   

               Melvin Wilson Roberts was born in Carthage TN to Lucy Jones and George Roberts. He enjoyed photography and fishing. He worked as a machinist for General Electric.

               Mr. Roberts is survived by children: Susan (Jamie) Winters and Joseph Roberts; grandchildren: Justin Roberts, Austin (Maria) Spann, and Katherine Spann; great-grandchildren: Michael Roberts and Rylee Roberts; siblings: Estel (Elmer) Likens, Mary (Wayne) Stacey, Carolyn (Jack) Young, George (Diane) Roberts, Kenneth (Lynn) Roberts, and Shirley (Donald) Corley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son James Wilson Roberts, parents Lucy and George Roberts, siblings Margie Barrett, Betty Flatt, Linda McIntyre, Margaret Stacey, Juanita Pinkham, Walter Roberts, and infant sister Melissa Roberts, and several nieces and nephews.
