Obituary of Warren Woodrow Bennett, Jr.

Warren Woodrow Bennett, Jr., age 75 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022.  Cryptside Service will be Wednesday, August 3^rd at 11:00 a.m. at Crestview Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 1623 Hwy 109N, Gallatin, TN  37066.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prader-Willi Syndrome Association, 8588 Potter Park Drive, Suite #500, Sarasota, FL  34238.

Mr. Bennett was born September 14, 1946 in Lakeland, FL to the late Warren Woodrow Bennett, Sr and Jessie Warfield Dorsey Bennett.  He is survived by wife of 26 years, Linda Brannan Bennett of Gallatin; children, Brenda Bennett (Denny Hill) of Omaha, NE, Diane Gilreath (John) of Gainesville, FL, Roberts Bennett of Greenville, SC, Charles Perry (Lisa) of Tampa, FL, Joan Perry of Binghamton, NY, and Richard Perry of Baxter, TN; brother, Dorsey Bennett (Tina) of Orlando, FL; sister, Beverly Bennett; and 7 grandchildren, Major Gilreath, Gaines Gilreath, Brent Bennett, Charles Perry III, Megan Perry, Aidan Perry, and Braden Perry.  Mr. Bennett dedicated 35 years of civil service as a Professional Engineer to the United States Army Corps of Engineers.  Following retirement, he further continued his civil service through work with FEMA.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin has been honored to assist the family.
