Obituary of Kimberly Dawn Brecht

Kimberly Dawn Carter Brecht, age 54 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at her residence. Ms. Brecht was born on February 8, 1968 in Nashville, TN to the late Jerry Carter and her mother, Patsy Carter.

Ms. Brecht is survived by her mother, Patsy Carter; children, Daniel Calvert, Amanda Wade, and Zach Brecht; grandchildren, Alexis Wade, Joshua Ferrell Jr., Keldyn Calvert, Brooklyn Wade, Kynzlee Calvert, Isabella Thompson, Derek Thompson, and Bentley Key; sister, Michelle Carter.

Along with her father, Ms. Brecht was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Anna Lou Lamberth, Roy and Flossie Carter.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 10th at 6:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Bro. Tim Colovos officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, August 10th from 4:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to help offset funeral expenses.
