Obituary of Beatrice "Bea" Grizzle

Beatrice “Bea” Grizzle, age 100 of Bethpage, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 11th from 8:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with grandsons and great grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Grizzle was born February 9, 1922 in Bethpage to the late Roy Troutt and Clo Meadows Troutt.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Charlie Will Grizzle; granddaughter, Kelly Lynn Hunter; brothers, Wayne Tuttle and Dickie Tuttle; sister, Frances Ramsey; and son-in-law, David Hunter.  She is survived by daughter, Willie A. Hunter of Bethpage; son, Roy Grizzle (Judy) of Bethpage; brother, Charles Ray Tuttle (Thelma) of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Virginia Parkey of Gallatin, Wilma Price (Wilton) of Gallatin, and Pattie Hall (Ron) of Gallatin; grandchildren, Danny Hunter (Mary), Craig Hunter (Tina), Vicky Knight, Steven Grizzle, and Brenda Lynn Grizzle;  great grandchildren, Jonathan Hunter, Olivia Long, Brittney LaShea, Trent Hunter, Austin Hunter, Hannah Hunter, Kaitlyn Hunter, Marissa Hunter, Kason Hunter, Aalyiah Hunter, Branson Hunter, Reagan Hunter, Charlie Gross, and Chevelle Long; and 7 great-great grandchildren.  Mrs. Grizzle was saved at a young age at Old Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.  She is a long-time member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin has been honored to assist the family.
