Obituary of Virginia Irene McLerran

Virginia Irene McLerran, age 86 of Castalian Springs, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 13^th in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Elder Ronnie Tennant officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, August 12^th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 13^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Union Church of Christ, 2505 Hartsville Pike, Castalian Springs, TN  37031.

Mrs. McLerran was born November 28, 1935 in Clay County, TN to the late Charlie Smith and Bertha Crawford Smith.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Claude Aaron McLerran; son, Michael Aaron McLerran; and sisters, Wilma Crowder, Theresa Anderson, and Frances Smith.  She is survived by grandson, Benjamin Aaron McLerran of Hartsville; and daughter-in-law, Jewel Jean McLerran of Castalian Springs.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin has been honored to assist the family.
